• Rounding the "The Point" was the aim all winter. The Point is in the middle distance and initially seemed a very long way off.
  • Peonies in the garden under the shade of a big Ash tree. I left this painting as it is because I love how the flowers emerge from the page in the same way that the peonies appear shyly against background of the hedge.
  • Just under the harbour wall, beside where the boats sit for the winter months, poppies bloom in spring. Watercolour on paper.
