Rounding the "The Point" was the aim all winter. The Point is in the middle distance and initially seemed a very long way off.

Peonies in the garden under the shade of a big Ash tree. I left this painting as it is because I love how the flowers emerge from the page in the same way that the peonies appear shyly against background of the hedge.

Just under the harbour wall, beside where the boats sit for the winter months, poppies bloom in spring. Watercolour on paper.
